On Eagle’s Wings

My husband JeanPaul and I have been in full time ministry for 40+ years. We have had wonderful moves of the Spirit and the supernatural for many of those years. However, at times I’ve gotten off track and haven’t always remained engaged in supernatural ministry. I’ve always felt I don’t want people to think I’m a “fruity, flaky, granola bar Christian!”

I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been providing therapy for the past 20 years using clinical tools within a Christian world view. I am grateful for the privilege of being a part of my clients’ journeys of healing and seeing many wonderful results. I plan to continue that for the foreseeable future.

But God has put some people in my life who need a level of healing and deliverance that nothing but the supernatural will do! Holy Spirit led me to join a year-long online mentoring program focused on the supernatural. I have returned to many of the things “I did at first” and over the years. I’ve cast my “reputation” on God, joining the Jesus in the reality that those who live godly in Christ will have opposition and be the subject of hurtful talk. I have repented of the fear of man and am moving full speed ahead again!

I am not going to compromise concerning the believer’s commission to move in the supernatural. We can do that without being gimmicky or “flaky.” New Testament Christianity is to live like Jesus did – in His character and amazing love, without neglecting the declaration of Jesus that we will do the same miraculous works He did and even greater. (See John 14:12)

I believe God is renewing us as believers, preparing His sons and daughters to reveal the glory of Christ within us. He is raising up an army of ordinary people who are filled with an extraordinary God! We will bring hope and the glory of the Kingdom of God to a world that is groaning, eagerly waiting for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God. Will you be one of this company?
